Chicago, IL, August 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Join hundreds of bikers, families, friends and supporters as they ride through the scenic suburban countryside to raise much-needed funds for autism research and awareness. The 7th annual Ride for Autism Speaks Chicago will be held on October 11th, 2009. It all begins at Wildfire Harley-Davidson, Villa Park, IL and ends at the Village of Addison Complex, IL. Following the ride an after party sponsored by JD Muggs Still ‘N Grill will be held at the Village of Addison complex. All proceeds from the event will benefit Autism Speaks, the nation’s leading autism advocacy organization working to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders.

Over the years, Ride events have raised more than $500,000 and attracted more than 5,000 participants. Ride for Autism Speaks cities include Chicago and Philadelphia. Ride for Autism Speaks Chicago is thrilled to have sponsorship and support of the local community: Wild Fire Harley Davidson, JD Muggs Still ‘N Grill, Shefsky & Froelich Ltd., CDW, City Limits, Raine, Construction Services, Starbucks Coffee and JBS.

Registration begins at 8:30 at Wildfire Harley-Davidson in Villa Park, IL and the Ride will leave at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place rain or shine – so please be prepared.

Fee: Registration fee is $30 per person and covers both the ride and the after party. Register online or via mail by September 15th and be guaranteed an official Ride Now “goodie bag” which includes an Official Ride for Autism Speaks 2009 Chicago T-Shirt and patch.

After Party Sponsored by JD Muggs Still ‘N Grill, at the Village of Addison complex located at the intersection of Lake Street and JFK Blvd., and will begin at 1:00pm. The after party will feature live music, raffle prizes and a variety of merchandise vendors.
